"Come, Let's Dance"

Hey all!
This post is a slight break in my travels to just tell you about where I'll be going soon. First, into East Africa, then settling in Uganda with the amazing organization, Come, Let's Dance!

I'm heading out into East Africa- landing first into Nairobi, Kenya. From there, I will be trekking a bit North and then West, around Lake Victoria, straight through Uganda, and then into Rwanda.  After climbing into the mountians to go and see the mountain gorillas there (!!!!),  I'll be swinging back around to head towards Kenya again, then into Tanzania and the Serengeti, all the way down to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar.

My traveling will end with me climbing Kilimanjaro for New Years (Also in Tanzania), and then making my way up just outside of Kampala (Uganda) to work with Come, Let's Dance.  www.comeletsdance.org

This is a truly amazing organization people! Started in 2006, it was just a children's home. In the last few years though, it has grown by leaps and bounds and now has a school, a medical clininc, a slum basecamp for women and children that works with the international group, Thread of Life (Helping to teach women basic business and crafting skills to make products that can then be marketed to a world-wide community. All in an effort to give women a way to make money and be independent without having to turn to prosititution), as well as a farm and vocational school!

Watch the video below to take a first-hand look!!

In order to make this dream a reality for my aide work though, I do need your help!

Every volunteer is asked to raise money to help the organization. Plus, I need to get there and live! The following link will take you over to my fundraiser. It only takes a second, is completely tax deductible, and will greatly help out all the amazing projects that CLD is working on right now! Every single penny counts and is greatly apprecaited.

Not only will you be helping me, but you'll be helping so many others.

And, for anyone else who keeps pestering me about Ebola....
